Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using my website, www.gildedguy.com (the “Site”). These Terms govern your use of the Site, and are a legally enforceable contract between Gilded Animation, LLC (I, me, my) and you. If you don’t agree with these Terms, please do not use the Site.

I may make changes to these Terms at any time by posting them to the Site. Any changes will be effective at the time of posting.

Your Obligations

• While viewing this site, you must abide by all applicable laws and refrain from violating any third party rights.
• You must comply with all policies posted on the Site.
• You may not use the Site to collect information about me with the intention to send unsolicited communications (spam) or steal identity or profile information. Any valid communication (as determined by me) is NOT unsolicited and gladly accepted. These include comments, criticisms, questions, inquiries, and other requests sent in a non-excessive manner.

Content Rights

You may not copy, repurpose or distribute content found on the Site for any purpose without express written permission. This includes any text, pictures, media, source code, or any other reproducible content on the Site. You may not modify any content on the Site without express written permission.
You agree not to access (or attempt to access) this site through any automated means unless with express written permission.
Unless explicitly specified, Gilded Animation is the exclusive owner of all software, graphics, designs, media on this Site. This includes any copyrights, trademarks, and any intellectual property rights.

Privacy Policy

Children under the age of 13 are not permitted to access areas of the website that feature multiplayer interactivity. Users under the age of 18 who access the website’s multiplayer features are representing (i.e. making a promise) that they have consent from their parent/guardian to use the website in accordance with the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

There are 4 ways that I can possibly collect information about you:

1. By contacting me or signing up to my mailing list, I may collect personally identifiable information you provide, including: Your name, your email address, and message details. I will only use your information to distribute email updates or reply to your inquiries. You are free to unsubscribe from the mailing list at any time using the “unsubscribe” link contained in distributed emails.
2. Saving user/player statistics for multiplayer game services. Please do not submit any personal identifying information on these games (such as your name, age, or address).
3. By submitting payment and/or mailing information through my shop, which uses secure storefronts (Gumroad) for processing your merchandise orders. I only use this information for order fulfillment and customer support.
4. By visiting this website, information about your computer (such as your IP address) has been logged using Google Analytics and my hosting provider (HostGator). The tracking information allows me to better understand the kind of people who come to my site and what content they’re reading. This allows me to make better decisions about design and writing. All of my activity falls within the bounds of the Google Analytics Terms of Service.

• Any claim (in court or in arbitration) must be brought in the initiating party’s individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class action or other similar proceeding.
• You are responsible for being informed about and complying with all laws, rules and regulations that apply to your use of the Site and our other services.
• If you misspell my name as gLidedguy, I am entitled to correct your spelling and make fun of you.
