Updated as of 4/22/2020

Due to increased viewership and workload, Gildedguy is planning to change the way custom icons/alerts are created for the stream’s overlay.

Starting April 7th, all icons and alerts will be available for customization via asset upload (2000 gil):

  • Upload Custom Headbang (2000 gil)
  • Upload Custom Woo Icon (2000 gil)
  • Upload Custom Superheadbang Alert (2000 gil)
  • Upload Custom Greeting Alert (2000 gil)

Aside from minor tweaks, Gildedguy will not create/render any new drawings for your icon (he’ll just use the image you give him). Custom images will have to be stream appropriate in style and content. More guidelines will be specified as April comes by.

FAQ

What happens to the current custom icons/alerts?

They will remain functional. If you wish, you could redeem a “Custom Upload” to replace your current icon with your own.

If you are doing less work, why is it still so expensive?

I chose 2000 as the amount because it is in between the previous min/max prices (1500/3500), while still maintaining a sense of exclusiveness. I want to be fair to previous viewers who farmed the 3500 gil before this update.

It also allows me to group these rewards as a single redeemable (“Upload a Custom Icon (2000 gil)” on the StreamLabs Loyalty plugin, instead of 4 separate choices.

I was saving up for a custom icon/alert made by you, how can I still make that happen?

You will still have until April 1st to redeem custom art made by me. I will be fulfilling all custom rewards up until that day (including ones that are in my backlog).

But beyond April 1st, if you want custom drawn art, you’ll have to commission me or another artist separately. If you visit our Discord server, you may find luck recruiting a talent.

I’m personally very selective about the commission art I do since my primary job is to deliver patron-backed animations. This whole update is aimed to free up time for new channel content and stream features.

FAQ will be updated as more questions come in.
